Visitor Tracking
Parago places great importance on visitor privacy and security. As part of our rebate redemption and promotion management services, we work with our various Promotion Sponsors (as defined below) to provide rebate redemption on their behalf. Consequently, they control the information we collect on their behalf. We do not require site registration to access certain portions of our site, and we don't pass personal information about individual visitors to any third party without your prior knowledge and consent. Parago reserves the right to perform statistical analyses of visitor behavior in order to measure consumer interest in the various areas of our site, and to inform retailers, manufacturers, promotion sponsors and advertisers as to how many visitors have seen or clicked on their offers, promotions, advertising banners and/or rebate forms. Additionally, if you process, check the status of, or otherwise access information on any rebate, production registration, or other promotion on or through our site, Parago may share any information provided to us by you with the manufacturer(s) and/or retailer(s) sponsoring or affiliated with such rebate, product registration, or promotion (collectively "Promotion Sponsors"). Parago does not control the practices of Promotion Sponsors. If you have questions about how a Promotion Sponsor uses information about you when you process, check the status of, or otherwise access information on a rebate, product registration, or other promotion on our site, please contact them directly.

Parago uses a third party, WebTrends Live, to analyze traffic to this website. WebTrends Live does not create individual profiles for visitors. Unlike some tracking services WebTrends Live does not have a database of individual profiles for each visitor. WebTrends Live only collects aggregate data. For more information about WebTrends Live privacy policy, please click here.

About IP Addresses

An IP address is a number that's automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are on the World Wide Web. Your computer can be identified on the Internet through your IP address. We use your IP address for the purposes of system administration, to help diagnose problems with our server, and to report aggregate information to our advertisers and partners. When visitors request pages from our site, our servers log the IP address of each visitor. We do not link IP addresses to a visitor's personally identifiable information unless such visitor registers with us. This means that an unregistered visitor's session will be logged, but the visitor remains anonymous to us.

Ads & Cookie Technology

Cookies are very small files sent to your Web browser by a site's server. Cookies cannot get information from your hard drive against your will, destroy files, or send you viruses. Parago may use cookies to count the number of its readers who view and click on ads and offers, to deliver content and offers specific to your interests, and to save your password so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit our site.

Registration Material

Our site's registration form requires visitors to give us contact information like a name, and email address. The sponsor of a rebate, product registration, or other promotion may also require additional information, such as contact information (e.g. address and telephone number), unique identifiers (e.g. mother's maiden name), demographic and profile information (e.g. income level) (the manufacturer or retailer sponsoring a rebate or other promotion may require these types of information in order to process the rebates). Your contact information is used by us to contact you when necessary. Unique identifiers are collected by us to verify your identity. Demographic and profile data is used by us to tailor your experience at our site, showing you content that we think you might be interested in, and displaying the content according to your preferences. This is because as part of our rebate redemption and promotion management services, we work with our various Promotion Sponsors to provide rebate redemption on their behalf. Consequently, they control the information we collect on their behalf. Parago does not control the practices of Promotion Sponsors. If you have questions about how a Promotion Sponsor uses information about you, when you process, check the status of, or otherwise access information on a rebate, product registration, or other promotion on our site, please contact them directly.

In order for this website to properly fulfill its obligation to users it is necessary for us to supplement the information we receive with information from 3rd party sources. We use a third party software application to validate a user’s address so we reduce errors in administering the rebates.

Contests and Surveys

We may periodically run contests and conduct visitor surveys on our site in which we ask visitors for contact information (like their email address). Your contact information is used to contact you only if corrections are needed or if you win the contest, and we may also use the information gathered in contests and surveys to help us create a better environment for our visitors.

Notice to Parents

Parago does not target its services or this website to children. This is a general audience site.

Site Security Measures

The importance of security for all personal information associated with you is of utmost concern to us. When we transfer and receive certain types of sensitive information, we redirect visitors to a secure server and will notify visitors through a pop-up screen on our site. We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site. Personally identifiable information collected and site analysis tools are stored in electronic logs behind our firewall and can be accessed only by approved Parago staff. Only those employees who need access to this information to perform their jobs are allowed access.

Volunteered Information

If you supply us with your postal address or email address online you may receive periodic communications from us with information on new products and services or upcoming programs. If you do not wish to receive such mailings, please let us know by calling us or emailing us at the above telephone number or email address. Policy Changes

From time to time, we may use visitor information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed to you in our privacy notice.
